Waterpark aficionados must visit Dubai's Aquaventure, the world's largest waterpark, with 105 slides and thrills, including some of the tallest and fastest. Aquaventure Waterpark, near to Atlantis and The Palm, is a municipal landmark. The waterpark has three towers with iconic rides including Medusa's Lair, Shockwave, and the River Rapids, as well as marine and watersports activities, animal encounters, private beaches, and all-ages children's play zones. Leap of Faith, a 27.5m fall through a transparent tube surrounded by sharks and rays, is Aquaventure's most renowned attraction, but Blackout is "the scarier sister" to it. Also available are water coasters like Shark Attack, which takes place in an inflatable ring, and group rides like Zoomerango. River rides, cliff-jumps, and more offer unlimited splashing and surfing possibilities. Many Aquaventure attractions need children above 1.2m, however the Splashers Kids' Play Area, a network of tunnels, tubes, slides, and climbing frames, is perfect for younger kids. Swim safely with sharks, hand-feed friendly cow-nose rays, and meet the park's famed dolphins and sea lions at Aquaventure. The 1km private beachfront is perfect for sunbathing or strolling when you need to unwind.
