Hop on a tour to explore the sensory world of aroma and taste, as you learn the botanical origins and processes used to make a wide variety of spices.
Our tour begins in the small spice farms of rural Zanzibar, where vanilla, nutmeg, cardamom, cloves and many other spices are grown, along with medicinal and ornamental plants, and tropical fruits.

Stone Town Tour (Private)(Add-on)
Embark on a journey through time in Zanzibar’s Stone Town and discover the rich history that lies in the monuments scattered around the island’s old city centre.
We start the tour by picking you up from your hotel in Stone Town, where a driver and a guide will take you both by car and on foot to visit the House of Wonders, the Arab Old Fort, the Sultan’s Palace, the Anglican Cathedral, the Slave Market, the City Market, the Old Dispensary, and the National Museum; providing a true insight into the culture and heritage of this fascinating island.

Prison Island(Add-on)
This tour includes a visit to the historic Prison Island with its giant land tortoise. The island was formerly owned by an Arab and used for confinement of refractory slaves. It was bought by General Mathews and the jail (goal) which still stands was build in 1893 and hence the name “PRISON ISLAND”. While on the island you will be able to swim, sunbathe and snorkel.

Safari Blue(Add-on)
Sail the calm waters of the Indian Ocean and explore the sandbanks, islands and bays of southwest Zanzibar, taking a glimpse at the fantastic marine life that inhabits the region.
We set off on this full-day excursion from Stone Town to the fishing village of Fumba. There we hop aboard a traditional sailing dhow and start exploring Menai Bay, a Marine Conservation Area that’s home to humpback and wild bottlenose dolphins, and dotted by several sandbanks and uninhabited islands. Midway through the cruise, we’ll drop anchor in one of the sandbanks or islands for a spot of snorkelling and a relaxing lunch. To finish off the excursion, we’ll get a chance to sail on a traditional handmade canoe called “ngalawa”, before making our way back to Stone Town.
